At work, we have been having a discussion recently about whitelist/blacklist and renaming them. It’s important, and it also brings clarity.
Renaming your master branch in git is another thing to discuss. In fact, I posted this link to my group’s Team’s channel in hopes of sparking a discussion. I’m proud of my team in that there was no discussion. There was just “ok, let’s make sure to document how to do it right.”
It’s a small thing and language matters. I can start with my own team, my own company, my own industry. Let’s change the verbiage and go from there.
